「SWALLOWER」(脱出劇, Nomikomigei) is the 11th episode overall, and the 11th episode of season 1.

Characters[]

Summary[]

Popee demonstrates his talent for sword swallowing and becomes over-zealous, resulting in disaster.

Plot[]

The episode starts with Popee catching a sword that he just threw, and licks it. Kedamono watches, concerned. Popee throws it back into the air, and swallows it. He rubs his stomach, before spitting it back out. It stabs into the wall. Kedamono applauds, as Popee laughs. Popee then grabs a bigger sword, before shaking his head, and grabbing a long one instead. Kedamono gets worried, as Popee gets excited, and throws it into the air. Kedamono looks away in fear, before a slash and thump is heard. Kedamono turns around to see Popee with the sword completely lodged down his throat, and through his body, and stuck in the ground. Kedamono shakes his head in fear. Popee reaches his hand out to Kedamono for help, before the sword de-lodges from the ground, and makes Popee fall on his stomach. Kedamono tries desperately to pull it out, but he fails. He instead pulls off the handle by accident. Popee stares at him, worried.

Kedamono is inside a truck, with a rope tied to the back of it, and tied to the end of the sword. Rope is tied to Popee's legs, with wooden pegs in the ground. Popee gets nervous, as Kedamono gives a thumbs up, and starts driving the truck forwards. It starts tugging, as Popee struggles in pain. The truck is restrained by the ropes, until the ropes tied to Popee's legs snap. Kedamono turns to look, and stares in shock, as Popee is being dragged along the ground. Kedamono then looks forwards to see that he's about to hit the wall. He turns quickly, making Popee smack into the wall. Kedamono freaks out, as the breaks no longer work. Kedamono feels bad, as Popee keeps crashing into things. He keeps driving, and looks back at Popee, who is bleeding and dying. Kedamono laughs a little bit, before the frog appears in front of the truck. He freaks out, and accidentally pulls out the steering wheel. Popee and the truck goes flying over the frog and behind the wall, and the truck explodes. Shortly after, Kedamono jumps over the fence, and runs away from enraged Popee, who is now holding the sword. He chases Kedamono, trying to slash him with the sword. Kedamono does a flip into the air to dodge, but lands in Popee's mouth. Popee swallows, as he feels Kedamono inside his stomach. Kedamono is sitting sadly inside his stomach, as he sees a light. It's Popee's mouth, emitting taunting laughter. Kedamono climbs up towards Popee's mouth, making him gag, before reaching his paw out of his mouth. Popee swallows him back down angrily, and throws the sword into the air, and opens his mouth to swallow it. Kedamono watches and screams in fear, before the sword lodges through Popee again. He is seen twisting around on the sword, as the sun sets. Dogs barking and birds chirping can be heard in the background.
