Characters[]
Summary[]
Popee tries to do the limbo. After becoming frustrated with his lack of success, he has Kedamono give it a go. After Kedamono proves to be better than him, Popee becomes jealous and raises the stakes.
Plot[]
The episode starts with Kedamono performing a supportive drumroll as Popee hypes himself up to attempt the limbo. Kedamono's supportive mask falls away to an excited one as Popee begins to duck under the pole, but becomes much less enthusiastic as he repeatedly falls onto his back. The drum roll continues steadily as Popee continues trying without much progress until the pole collapses dramatically on top of him. Kedamono seems disappointed, wearing a tearful mask. The wall of illustrated features mocks Popee in a drawn out audio hallucination. Frustrated, Popee rushes at the wall and begins to kick at it, while Kedamono stands off to the side. Popee injures himself kicking the wall and Kedamono laughs until Popee pops up behind Kedamono, the latter's mask turning an uneasy blue.
Popee is now performing the drum roll as Kedamono hypes himself up for the limbo. Kedamono looks determined as he successfully bends under the pole, Popee looking on in awe. Kedamono celebrates with a flip and triumphant pose, at which point Popee decides to increase the difficulty.

Popee's twisted grin.
Popee moves the pole to a slightly lower rung as the "voice" of the illustration wall grumbles on, but notices Kedamono looking prepared and cocky. Popee instead puts it on the very bottom rung, before deciding to light the pole on fire, making an impossible challenge Kedamono is doomed to fail. Kedamono nervously watches on, wearing a defeated, tearful mask. He approaches the pole slowly, looking resigned to the stunt, as Popee's drum rolls on. When Kedamono looks at Popee, his face has become distorted into a twisted grin. Kedamono jumps in fright and shakes his head, but Popee watches on with an innocently confused face, tilting his head to one side. As Kedamono looks back at the pole, Popee laughs, his face returning to the twisted grin it was a few moments before. Kedamono looks back quickly, but Popee's face once again appears innocent.
The fire roars as Kedamono nervously attempts the limbo, wearing a very distressed mask. He bends back impressively far and manages to bend under the flaming pole, though not without knocking it off the rungs. Kedamono wears a triumphant mask after accomplishing this seemingly impossible stunt. Popee drops his drumsticks and begins to clap, incredibly impressed. Kedamono looks smug about his success, but when he turns back, he notices his tail has gone up in flames. Kedamono goes into a panic and begins to chase Popee.
Popee runs away from the burning Kedamono. In a desperate attempt to escape, Popee tries to climb up onto the Zirkus truck. As he's scrambling up, however, Kedamono grabs him from below, causing both to fall into the box below them, marked "DANGER!" The fire on Kedamono's ignites fireworks within the box, blasting the pair into the sky, each holding on a firework. Popee and Kedamono look at each other and the fireworks explode, killing them both.
The final scene shows us the mural on the wall "cheering" at the fireworks (as well as the characters' deaths.)
