「ESCAPE SHOW」(脱出劇, Dasshutsu geki) is the 12th episode out of 39 overall, and the twelveth episode of season 1.

After Popee and Kedamono get into an accident after practicing an escape act, they get abducted by Alien.
Plot[]
Popee attempts to practice an escape act, tying himself to a log along with multiple sticks of dynamite. Kedamono starts the countdown and runs away, while Popee begins to shuffle himself out of the ropes. He manages to successfully squeeze his right arm out, before falling over.
Kedamono is quick to run to Popee's aid, seeing that he is unable to get back up and take out his other arm. However, he is unsure of how to help, and in the heat of the moment, stabs a knife right into the timer directly before it explodes, saving Popee from likely death. Relieved, Kedamono lets one of his masks fall onto the knife, dislodging it and causing the timer to start back up again.
The dynamite explodes and sends Popee and Kedamono soaring through the air, so much so that they exit the earth's atmosphere and get sucked up by Alien's space ship. Popee wakes up to see that he is in a bright room and strapped down to a chair, and a door opens revealing Alien walking towards him. Kedamono follows shortly after, much to Popee's surprise.
Looking to Kedamono for some help, Popee tries to convince him to unstrap the chair. Kedamono briefly questions what he's doing and debates whether he should help or not, while Alien approaches Popee with a scalpel. Popee, not wanting to be (assumably vivisected), quickly flails as much as he can in the straps, successfully budging both arms loose.
Alien walks back to the table with Kedamono and pulls out a gun and a syringe, likely telling him to inject Popee with the unknown liquid. He just shakes his head, unwilling to comply until a chicken leg is presented in front of him. Almost immediately, Kedamono injects Popee and puts him to sleep. However, when Kedamono reaches out his paw for the chicken leg, Alien simply shoots it and causes all but the bone to disintegrate.
Enraged, Kedamono tackles Alien to the ground, making them drop the bone. He quickly jumps off and goes for the bone, but in the process the ship cracks and explodes from the impact. This leaves Popee, Kedamono, and Alien floating through space, and the episode ends with Kedamono looking hungrily at Alien as a fork and knife float by.
